Dorayaki (銅鑼燒) is a type of Japanese confection with sweet red bean paste sandwiched in between two round pancakes. It is the favourite snack of Doraemon. Since I like it as much as Doraemon does, I think it is appropriate for me to introduce this Japanese snack to you.
The feeling of holding one in your hand is just fantastic! The bulging pancakes seem like exploding with the fillings spilling out.
Nowadays, there are more flavours of fillings to choose from, e.g., green tea and fresh cream. However, the traditional red bean paste is still the best!
