Fire on Epic? Deliberate or accident?

You may remember the fire on the Norwegian Epic at the beginning of this Month. Well after a recent report after the fire, STX Europe, the shipyard building the ship said the French authorities are looking into how the fire was started at its St. Nazaire shipyard. The fire broke out just after 11:00 p.m. Monday 4th May, at the aft of Deck 4.....
Fire fighters managed to contain prevent the fire from spreading, meaning that only the ships wiring was damaged.

In a statement realised STX said: "At the conclusion from the fire-fighters and the CID [Criminal Investigation Department], a French prosecutor made a decision to design an expert and to launch a police investigation.

"It appeared that ... some findings could indicate that the fire might have been started deliberately," such as "non activation" of an automatic fire extinguishing system and the fact there was no work being done at the time likely to cause a fire.

So is there any foul play going on here? Or just over active imaginations? Either way NCL and STX have still advised that the maiden Voyage on the 24th June is to still go ahead. Many of my colleagues are a two day press realise just before this, so i will keep you posted. I’m sure though, having been on NCL myself, the fire will not affect the brilliant product that is Norwegian cruise line.

I was unable to find a picture of this incident, so thanks to modern technology i have managed to recreate what this ship may of looked like on fire. I must say it is very believable. Although the fire was actually at the aft of the ship, i found this very difficult to recreate on paint, so i decided to move it! whoops! Either way maybe i have missed my calling? Let me know what you think!
