Ciara Says She Has No Idea Whats Going On With Mama I Want To Sing

While recently being interviewed about her new “Basic Instinct” album, Ciara was asked about the status of her movie “Mama I Want To Sing.” If you all remember, we first reported on Ciara landing the role back in 2007 and the film was suppose to be released the following year in 2008. However, two years later, the movie has still not been released… not even on DVD as rumored.


According to Ciara, she knows as much about the status of the movie as we do. Here’s what she had to say:


Despite the hang-up, Ciara says she enjoyed working with her co-stars Hill Harper (CSI: NY), Billy Zane (Titanic), and Patti Labelle. “It definitely was a fun experience” she said. Ciara also revealed that more movies would be in her future, but declined to give details.

Well, it’s funny because at this point, I couldn’t tell you all the details to be honest with you. I’m sure it’ll definitely come out whenever everything is finalized and when it’s supposed to.”

Ciara’s Basic Instinct is out now. Her first foray into films, the MTV produce dance classic “All You’ve Got,” can be purchased on DVD.
