Daddy cool? More like Daddy's a fool!

I’m happy to admit that being a new father, I’m about as cool as Paint. I find myself morphing from the hip new age father I always said I would become, to the waste not want not, dad dancing, father that enjoys visiting garden centres and going for long walks?

Where did it all go wrong? When did I lose my cool? Did I ever have any cool?.....

The answer is simple, last year on our Annual Christmas cruise, I found myself awkwardly, Shuffling around the dance floor. At first glance this seemed perfectly normal behaviour, a young man in his 20's dancing to music, having a good time with his colleagues. It wasn’t until I realised, I was dancing on my own, Stone cold sober and to 70’s Disco music. This is when i realised that the last shred of cool I had had been destroyed by my last god awful spin. This got me thinking, if I wish to continue with Rhythm less antics on future cruises now that I have a daughter, who would be the best cruise line for babysitting services? As painful as it is to watch me dancing, I still enjoyed it! Not being experienced in this matter I decided to do some research. I can quite confidently say, for me, P&O cruises seem to stand head and shoulders above the rest. Don’t get me wrong Royal Caribbean also looks very good, but with P&O, there does seem to be a lot of positive feedback. Plus, I have travelled with PO once before and was very pleased with the dance floor, this in mind I am considering taking my young family away to test the waters next year? Only time will tell, and hopefully my daughter will grow up avoiding seeing her father create further crimes against Music.
